UNFLUENCER – DE-SINNING THE DESIGNER is the result of a close collaboration with the Swiss Design Label FREITAG. The installation has been featured at the prestigious VENTURA CENTRALE exhibition nearby the Milano Centrale station. UNFLUENCER is based on Georg Lendorff’s acclaimed video sculpture First Light from 2018.

UNFLUENCER invites visitors to float in a volumetric video projection and offers the opportunity to reflect on bad and good design.

UNFLUENCER became a hugely popular and highly acclaimed event during the Furiosalone 2019. More the 10’000 visitors experienced the installation and the media response was overwhelming.

Winner of the 2020 FRAME AWARDS jury prize in the categories: Exhibition of the Year and Best use of Light.

DAMNº SELECTS THE BEST OF MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2019

The collaboration between Freitag Lab and Swiss video artist Georg Lendorff flipped Milan Design Week on its head.

An immersive experience, visitors floated in a volumetric video projection and light installation. Thousands of threads hung from the ceiling with the goal to dissolve visitors’ sense of space and time, and at the same time allowed them to confess their design and consumer sins without the need for any Hail Mary’s.
