Biography
Georg Lendorff is a Swiss Arab artist born 1965 in Zurich. After graduating from the Zurich University of the Arts and with a degree in Film Directing from the London College of Communications, Georg started working as a filmmaker and video artist. With his work for theater and opera, he became a defining force in the use of projection and video for stage production. His work has been shown in major theaters, including the Staatsoper Stuttgart, The Vlaamse Opera, Salzburg Festival and Burgtheater Vienna. In addition to the commissioned work, Georg develops independent art projects, incorporating Film, Video and large spatial installations.

One focus of Lendorff's work is experimentation with technical and artistic means. For him, exploring and expanding the visual and scenographic vocabulary is closely linked to the examination of themes. This results in new, strong and engaging works.
